This blackout window shades is consist of slow rise spring loaded roller blind system, quality blackout material, a round aluminium bottom bar in silver finish and some accessories. Size: the actual width of the fabric will be approximately 1.37" less than the overall blind width ordered, this is to allow for the brackets and operating mechanism. 2. Light gap: there will be a “halo” of light around the edges of the window treatment when you use it. One way to eliminate the “halo” around the edges of an otherwise blackout window treatment is to create a multi-layer treatment that combines side panels and a valance or cornice box to stop the light at the border and take your room’s decor to the next level. Multi-layer treatments can take your windows from ordinary to extraordinary while eliminating all glare from your room. 3. Reverse roll: the fabric is placed to wrap over the roller to fall in front, leaving a gap between the shade and the window. It is best for an inside mount. If you’re adding window treatments to doors with handles or windows with cranks, this gap lets the shade close over things like these. Or if you don't mind, you can put the back side in the front for a smaller gap. 4.
