This fast-acting formula starts working immediately and is rainproof in 1 hour. Use Ortho® GroundClear® Year Long Vegetation Killer only where no vegetation is desired for at least a year. Use on driveways, sidewalks, fence lines, paver patios, walkways, gravel areas, rock and desert landscapes, under decks, parking areas, and along fences and curbs. Water the day before application if soil is dry. For best results, apply when temperatures are above 60°F. The refill is convenient and easy to use - first, remove the existing wand and holster from the original bottle of Ortho® GroundClear® Year Long Vegetation Killer Ready-to-Use and then attach it to GroundClear® Year Long Vegetation Killer Refill container. Do not use before planting lawns, fruits, vegetables, or other plants because the product remains active in the soil for up to one year. Do not enter or allow others to enter treated areas until sprays have dried.
