About this item

Kill even the toughest of weeds with Scotts Weed Control for Lawns. This granular weed killer for broadleaf weed control for grass in residential lawns and yards controls over 200 listed weed types, including dandelion, clover, dollarweed, chickweed, poison ivy, henbit, oxalis, ground ivy, and purslane. This product starts working on contact and kills the root, and is a great addition to your lawn maintenance plan. Apply Scotts Weed Control for Lawns in the spring or early fall when broadleaf weeds are actively growing, preferably in the morning when dew is on the grass. We recommend using a Scotts spreader to apply this product. For Scotts broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 3 3/4. For Scotts drop spreaders, use a setting of 5 3/4. Avoid washing product from weed leaves for 1 to 2 days after application. At this time, a thorough watering should be made. Do not use on Dichondra, Carpetgrass, 'Floratam' St. Augustinegrass, Creeping Bentgrass, or turfgrass where desirable clovers are present. One 14 lb. bag of Scotts Weed Control for Lawns covers 5,000 sq. ft.
